Yoast SEO, an SEO plugin that its most complete until now. I also use the Yoast SEO plugin in my web in wordpress.

1. General Settings
Go to the menu SEO> General from the WordPress dashboard.Then click Your Info tab.
Enter your site name to form the "Website name:" and enter the alternative name of the website in the "Alternate name:".

2. Setting Titles & Metas
Go to the menu SEO> Titles & Metas of the dashboard.Title is the title page of your site that appears on every page at the top of the browser.
While the Meta (or meta description) is a short description that appears in Google search results.
Sign in to the Homepage tab.

- %%Sitename%% - the name of your website, can be changed in Settings> General
- %%Page%% - your website page, if a visitor is on page 2, it will appear automatically Page 2
- %%Sep%% - a sign of separation, this can be changed in the General tab
- %%Sitedesc%% - tagline your website, can be changed in Settings> General
Title template I suggest leave it like that.
While in the Meta description template, enter 1-2 sentences that describe your website. A maximum of 160 characters.
Continue to Post Types tab
On this page you will see several columns Title and Meta description template for Posts, Pages, and Media.
For Title template, remove %%sep%% %%sitename%%..
So the rest is just. %%title% %%page%%.

As for the Meta description template left empty.
If so, go to Taxonomies
Just like Post Types, remove %%sep%% %%sitename%% of all Title template on this page.
Further to the Archives.
In the> Duplicate content prevention, check out the line that says "Add noindex, follow to the author archives".
If your website is managed by one person (1 user), check this option:
Meanwhile, if your website is managed by people with more than one user, leave it unchecked.
When finished, click the Save Changes button.
As for the Meta description template left empty.

3. Social Settings
Go to the menu SEO> Social.On the Accounts tab, fill in the blank fields with your social media accounts. Not everything needs to be filled.
then go to the Facebook tab.
In the field Image URL (No 2), upload the image size of 470x246px or more. This image is supposed that can describe your website.
Then click the Copy button home meta description.
Complete the Title.
Finally, click the Add button Facebook Admin. After that you will be asked to enter a Facebook user ID. Use this website to find your user ID.
Now we go straight to the Google+ tab.
Check the specific selection Add Google+ post meta data.
Then copy-paste your Google+ profile address to a given column.
If so, click Save Changes.
4. Settings Search Console
Now we move to menu SEO> Search Console.Click the Get Google Authorization Code. Follow the steps until you get a code.
Paste the code in a given column.
Done.
There are still a few more menus that are not discussed, because it does not need to be changed. But please learn on their own, in case you need to change something.
5. Setting Categories
Go to the menu Posts> Categories.This is your category pages, it should be here already there is at least 1 category.
Click Edit in one category.
Scroll down until you find the Yoast SEO Settings.
On this page you can change the default title, then add the meta description.
Please replace as you want.
Most importantly, make sure your title and meta description contains keywords according to the title of your category.
SEO settings for post and page
Every time you create and publish a post, there are SEO settings you should do for each post.Go to the menu Posts> All Posts> Edit one post.
Or create a new post at Posts> Add New.
In this editor page, scroll down to the bottom until you see the Yoast SEO.
First, enter your target keyword to Focus Keyword.
(Learn SEO first if not understand)
After entering your keyword focus, you will see the ratings SEO for your post. Learn the assessment, because it is useful to increase your SEO knowledge.
On it, you'll see snipped editor.
Replace the words blue titles that contain the keyword. Wherever possible length is limited to 60 letters, but it's okay if it is more.
Under the title and URL (blue and green), there is, meta description.
Describe your articles in less than 160 characters. Include a minimum and a maximum of 1 times the keyword you are targeting.
On the left there are 2 icon again.
Icon that such gear is setting technical SEO. If you do not understand its function, just ignore it.
Icons such as "<" is setting social media. If you wish that the post is displayed with a different title on Facebook and Twitter, replace here.
