How to Find Long Tail Keyword High Value

The keywords should you seek to websites not only have a high search volume, but the right target is generally longer. (Long Tail Keyword).

Keyword searches such as these have a smaller level, but will give the biggest profit for you.

Make no mistake, not all long keyword has a high value. You will learn how to find long tail keywords that have high value through this guide.

Why the long tail?

Related to that we have learned in chapter 1 of the search intent, and Chapter 3 regarding the analysis of competition.

First, because of the high value keywords or have commercial intent (purchase intent) are usually long. Logically, if someone wants to purchase a product eg Samsul Galaxy X, they will conduct a "buy Samsul Galaxy X newyork" and not just "Samsul Galaxy X".

Second, long tail keywords generally have less competition than a short keyword.

2. Google Webmaster Tools / Google Analytics

If you already have a steady traffic from search engines, are not aware there are lots of long tail keywords into your website.

To obtain this keyword, please go to Google Webmaster Tools or Google Analytics (if already connected). Then click> menu Search Traffic> Search Queries.


From the list of keywords above, many who had never deliberately I target but appeared in Google Webmaster Tools. From here you can find hidden keywords in your website.


3. Forums, social networking and other community sites

By looking at other people's conversations on social sites, we can get an idea for long tail keywords. You might not even need to do additional research on keywords from the social sites because obviously in the interest of others.


4. SEMRush

By using SEMRush, you can peek organic keyword from other websites that have similar topics to your website.

Websites that are already popular usually perform keyword research themselves. With a peek of their keywords, we can save time in finding long tail keywords.


Assessing the long tail keywords

Just finding alone is not difficult, the real challenge is to find long tail keywords that have high value.

Search volume per month is not 0. If your keywords in English, searches per month should be above 880.
Have a commercial intent. Please read the chapter 1 to see an explanation of high-value keywords.
Competition is easy. Not all long tail keywords have low competition, do not let you target keywords with a small volume but high competition.

If you still have hundreds of keywords, mark it in Excel or Spreadsheet, which keywords best according to you based on the data volume, intent, and difficulty (level of competition). Then separate these keywords into different files.

More added again will depend on the plan size and type of your website. The following order of priority based on the type of website:
Blog information - volume, competition, intent
Business Blog - volume, intent, competition
Blog micro - competition, intent, volume
Online shop (e-commerce) - intent, volume, competition
Services / Service - intent, volume, competition

Of the three the deciding factor which is more important and profitable for your website should be prioritized.

For example, for a website online stores and websites that sell services, services, SaaS, and web-app, the priority is the keyword with the intent Commercial Investigation and Transactional that greater conversion rate.

If you want to target the high volume of these types of websites, create a business blog as a supporter.
